Genoa 2025

Federico Russo was born in Rome in February 1989. In 2015, he graduated in Art History with an iconological thesis on the emblematic art of the 1500s. In 2017, he began collaborating with the magazine “Il Ventriloco” and the online magazine “Contropiano.” In 2019, after a long period of studying Piranesi, he exhibited his paintings at the wine bar “Il Piccolo.” In March 2020, during the lockdown, he created the project “Illustrated Self-Certifications,” later exhibited by Zalib in Trastevere under his artistic direction — an opportunity that earned him access to the Cento campaign promoted by Perimetro. In 2022, he designed the exhibition “Aqvarium,” displayed at the Diorama Gallery art gallery in Rome.
