About the event
vers vuur is an annual festival that celebrates word art in all its forms. It brings literature to life with music, visual art, poetry, spoken word, performances, installations and more. With a surprising and diverse programme, vers vuur invites a wide audience to experience literature in an accessible and innovative way.
The first edition took place on 16 December 2023, the second on 25 May 2024- both at the Blikfabriek in Hoboken. In 2025, vers vuur will descend on De Studio in Antwerp for an extra festive third edition on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 June 2025.
